Description
The Zurn Wilkins 375 Reduced Pressure Principal Backflow Assembly (RPZ) is utilized where a potential high health hazard exists and is ideal for use when lead-free valves are required protecting against both back siphonage and backpressure of contaminated water into the potable water supply.
The 375 includes an epoxy-coated inside and out ductile iron valve body eliminating exposure to corrosion. The 375 utilizes the Zurn Wilkins low head loss Compound Check and offers the lowest lifecycle costs on the market. Wilkins 375 valves are light weight and have a very low head loss of pressure. Ductile iron body construction drastically reduces the weight that is normally associated with grey iron bodies, and the patented Compound Check took head loss to lows not previously seen with a centre-stem guided check. The Compound Check provides a mechanical ‘assist’ resulting in very low-pressure loss. And reversible, replaceable seat washers allow minimum down time and minimum repair costs.
